A new 3D cave-diving adventure drama film, Produced by James Cameron and directed by Alister Grierson an Australian film director and script writer. Sanctum script was inspired by the near death experience of one of the writers, Andrew Wright who when leading a diving expedition miles into a system of underwater cave, and while trying to find a way out after a crazy storm collapsed the entrance.

Sanctum was shot in Warner Road show Studios and the Queensland Gold Coast, it employed a 3D photography technique James Cameron developed to film Avatar. This breath taken and unbelievable under water sequence took place in a large water tank at the Village Road show Studios in Queensland, just like Titanic in a water tank. The real caves were also filmed in South Australias cave-diving region around Mount Gambier. Sanctum was out on the 4th of February 2011. Sanctum didn’t win much viewers heart but a great film to see because it set your mind in the thinking mood and leave your breath taken as you keep expecting the worst. Sanctum is an example for cave divers and rock climbers. It could help widen their imagination and experience.
James Cameron is the writer and producer of Titanic (1997) and The Abyss (1989) the worlds’ greatest underwater gripping adventure films.

This New scientific film out is all about extraterrestrial beings, aliens invading earth the universe.
The story was set primarily in Los Angeles USA, where most end days or scientific films are often set.

What are they doing with humans?
Our heroes, some local LA resident’s, Jarrod (Balfour), Terry (Faison) and Elaine (Thompson), planed an escape for survival which is to run out of the city where the unreal is happening, not knowing that it is taking part in all parts of the world. But how can they exit the 20 story building with even smart cars when these aliens are everywhere with their lights and mostly little devil monsters swimming around on ground level. this made the chances of any one on earth surviving appear to be somewhere between really slim and none.
Taking a chance of staying in the paint house of the tall building didin’t help that much, thou they understood what was happing from there, knew they didn’t have much time to waist, because the monsters were now finding their way into the building and claiming human lives.
What was it were they doing with humans again? Oh yeah! They sucks out humans brain, which glows blue and uses it to replace the damaged or worn out brain they have been using. Basically they use human brains as a means of strength and energy which fully revives them when damaged. The world appeared to be a jackpot for them, and they came to take as much fuel, resourses as they can find. "maybe this is might be what the Strause brothers think".
Lovers of scientific and Alien invasion films would find this film quiet entertaining and kept them waiting because usually in every invasion films mostly aliens, there is always a little narrow way out or the actors discovers an achihill of the mosters and uses it against them, but on this films, viewers kept hoping to see something to hook on to for a way out earlier in time and wouldn't find any "i didn't". "Skyline adds to them with an eerie sense of impending doom".
Special effects gurus Colin and Greg Strause, who also directed Aliens vs Predator in 2007, and worked on high profile films under their company Hydraulx such a "2012","Day after tomorrow", "300", "Avatar", and many more has set out to create the ultimate invasion tale, literally laying siege to the entire system, using their own special effects company. The film was made under a year and didn't cost much. Colin and Greg proved to their viewers that they can not only direct but can put together a whole film on their own.
The project began filming in February 2010 throughout March 31.This film was completely finance by the Strause brothers, they’ve only sought assistance from a major studio to help with distribution. It is also going to be the Strause brothers first film in a series, which will include at least one other film “now i know why it ended the way it did”.The film was almost entirely shot in the apartment block where Greg Strause lives, in Marna Del Rey, California. The physical production was about five hundred thousand dollars, while the visual effects that total the budget was around ten to twenty million. With the background in special effects, the film actually has over 800 virtual effects shots, more than most studio blockbusters. The film was release on 12/11/2010 in North America and United kingdom and hopefully a sequel coming soon!
